The award shows a wrench from the Douglas Aircraft plant in Long Beach California in 1943. Awarded to a woman during her employment at the plant. The wrench was made at the plant and used in construction of aircraft like the B-17 bomber. A highly collectable piece that shows the effort that woman put into the making of planes during the war.
