Stearns vintage saw files vise

Description:
A great early 1880's Stearns saw filing vise. The vise is mounted to a oak board and can be secured to a table or placed in a bench vise. These style vises have become popular with jewelers and tinsmiths. The large jaws can hold a thin piece of metal or tin and secure it for bending or cutting. Although used in the past for sharpening saws today these vises have become popular for other uses. Come see this great vintage vise in space #46 at Stars next to the front counter.
