Cross cut logging saw (one man with helper handle)

This is the tool that was used in the forests of the Pacific Northwest. The one man cross cut saw. The saw is 48" long and is in EXCELLENT condition. The saw has the often missing helper handle that can be moved to the front for one man or moved to the rear for a partner making it a two man saw. I just had the saw sharpened by a older gentleman that loves old saws. The saw is razor sharp and ready to use. This sharp edge is protected by a wood edge guard and secured with leather straps. The maker is Disston according to the Medallion. I love the look of these and I am proud to offer it for sale at Stars in space #46 next to the front counter.
