Description:
This Yoruba headdress is from Nigeria. It is 17" high and its tassels are about 13" long. It is all handmade & beaded, and is in excellent condition. These headdresses were made for the Kings of the tribes back in the day, but now they are made for the tourist trade. However, this piece probably dates back to the 1970s.
