Postman Clock made in the Black Forest of Germany, patented 1883. 8 Day Alarm Clock with weights. Was made for the livery stable boys so they would get up early and post the owner/boss's horse to the post in front of the owners home. This clock has wood plates with brass wheels. Has had a complete service, adjusted and oiled.
