Jovan Obican, originally from the former Yugoslavia, is one of Europe's best loved Jewish artists. His art style is unique; a conglomerate of tradition, history, hero tails, epics, old customs, and a derivation of folklore. His art is a recognizable self-standing style and both cheerful and whimsical. He is a listed artist. Jovan died in 1985 or 1986.
