Portrait of a child, pastel by the English miniaturist Rose Emma Drummond early 19thC, approx. 23"by30" signed and dated; she specialized in portraits of theatrical personalities, commissioned by Dickens to paint a miniature portrait which he gave his fiancée in 1835; exhibited at least 18 portraits at the Royal Academy; painted the child prodigy Clara Fisher(1811-1898); because of the resemblance to the child prodigy, this may be a portrait of Clara Fisher by Rose Emma Drummond from which an engraving was later made
