Exceptional mid century modern 3 pieces. By far, the best quality in any furniture I've ever seen. Carl Bissman was a famous architect/builder/designer. Carl Bissman of Springfield, MO. The wood is solid walnut, he used found in the Ozarks. Beginning in 1947 Carl moved to manufacturing a general line of mid century modern furniture. The furniture was simple, but elegant. Built with pride, quality craftsmanship. Truly beautiful. Bissman furniture became popular & still sought after today. But, because it was not manufactured for a long period of time, the pieces are extremely rare! But, my prices are very competitively priced, selling elsewhere for 40-50% more! To make the drawers easier to open, Carl "invented a drawer mount w/ cushioned adaptor guides, that were patented & manufactured specifically by Bissman".
