I love to "salvage & save" a piece of the past by restoring it so it can be used another lifetime. In this case the top of dresser had numerous rings & stains & I stripped the top only. I also throughly clean the pieces until they shine. This dresser is from the 40's & retains its original lovely hardware & most of the original finish, although I matched the dresser top finish perfectly to the rest of the dresser.
