Rare 1902 circa Metal Wine Barrel

THIS ITEM HAS BEEN MARKED AS SOLD
Description:
Dated & clearly marked ontop of the barrel "1902" including month & day. Salvaged metal barrel found in Tri Cities, Washington area used in a vineyard. These barrels use to "lay on their sides as the wine aged". The spigot & larger hole is where wine would be tested & tasted. Measures 33" high x 21". The rivets add interest to the barrel, custom made back then. Priced to sell. This conversation piece could be used as a bistro table outdoors with an umbrella placed in the large tasting hole (weight of barrel would easily support the umbrella) ..... or use indoor as a side table next to a larger chair or/ couch. Extremely heavy, could be delivered. ❇ Extremely cool piece of the past.
