Stunning "thunderbolt wave design" window designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, famous designer of architecture. Luxfer prism design was towards beginning of his career ... thus funding beginning of his future career of designing mid-century buildings & much more. The prism tiles that are actually purpling, have magnese in the glass. In 1897 Luxfer Prism tiles were used in industrial business settings, bringing in much needed natural light to massive dark buildings in America saving on electricity as electricity was expensive back then. The Luxfer Prism Co. "hired Wright to design" these decorative patterns in 1897. No cracks, authentic. One smaller prism tile was replaced looks like years ago using an original Luxfer prism tile. Two rods added for extra support to the 3rd center rod already in place. Very stout & heavy. Selling on-line similar to size & tile design this window runs more than $1000., upwards $2000. plus. Usually you can only find the bits of the prism tiles themselves still & the large windows like this one is very rare. Throughly cleaned & reinforced. Measures 32" x 35 3/4".
